Estimated Project Timeline

While it is hard to predict exactly how a large construction project like this will go, here is a basic timeline of events for the project as we currently see it:

Nov. 5, 2024: Voters approve full bonding package. Administration works to begin borrowing and working with financial institution. 

Summer of 2025: Large majority of HVAC work is initiated, with completion pegged at November of 2025, at which point the work must be done to satisfy the School Revolving Renovation Fund Grant. 

Summer of 2025 through Summer of 2026: Engineers have indicated they will likely begin the parking and gymnasium portions of the building project first, alongside the field renovations and additions, then look to the theater work to be done, focusing on getting cafeteria and kitchen completed in time for the 2026/2027 school year. They say that is likely the most efficient way to do it. However, it may be that we prioritize the kitchen/cafeteria, as that has a real, every day impact on the kids right away. There is still a lot to be determined. 

Fall of 2027: The plan is that all work is completed by this time and all construction and renovation is completed and that the spaces are actively in use.
