All juniors and seniors will be taking a field trip on April 16 to the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum to participate in a county wide Career Fair.
This career fair will be an interactive, in-person experience that will connect students to post-secondary opportunities in 4 areas: Employment, Enrollment, Enlistment, and Entrepreneurship.
This is a reminder to ALL HHS students to check your e-mail every day. Teachers use e-mail to provide essential information to students, so keep up with them. Additionally, if students receive an early dismissal they will get an email from the Attendance office that says when to leave.
We’re excited to share that the SACS Education Foundation is planning a brand-new fundraiser—our first-ever pickleball tournament, called the Paddle Classic! Mark your calendars for March 5, 2026, when we’ll be taking over the courts for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and community spirit.
In order to register for this exciting event and support the SACS community see the flyer pictured on the left!
Attention all juniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher: There will be a MANDATORY call-out meeting on January 16th at 7:00AM in the Grey Box for anyone interested in participating in the HHS Internship Program next school year. You will be given a program overview, including the requirements and what to expect as a Homestead Intern. The HHS Internship Program is one of the most popular courses/experiences offered at Homestead. As such, this meeting will serve as the first round in the selection process. Students who miss this meeting (without prior notice to Mr. Rogers) will not be allowed to enroll/participate in the internship program next school year. Please note, attending the meeting doesn't obligate you to enroll in the program. You just cannot enroll if you don't attend. Please contact Mr. Rogers brogers@sacs.k12.in.us with any questions.
Travel Opportunity
Do you like to travel? Would you like to explore beautiful cities and experience new cultures? Join us on our trip to Japan in the spring of 2026 or Ecuador in Summer 2026!
We’re excited to travel to Japan with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. The trip is open to all Homestead students. We will visit Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, and Osaka with stops at temples, shrines, and parks. We will even ride a bullet train and visit the deer park in Nara where the deer bow to visitors. Our hope is to see the magnificent cherry blossoms in full bloom during our spring break visit.

Reminders to Those Who Drive!!
We want to take this opportunity to remind our families and young drivers to follow all traffic laws when driving to and from the high school during arrival and dismissal times. Drivers who are northbound on Homestead Road and are waiting to turn left onto Indian Meadows Drive, near the SACS Central Office, are reminded they must yield to oncoming traffic when turning into our campus. That intersection is not to be treated as a three-way stop. Students are reminded that they must have an HHS Parking Pass hanging in their car to park on our campus. No students should be parking at Summit Middle School or the baseball field parking lots. All students must enter and exit through Door 1. Authorized students can park in the two lots near door 34, or in the environmental center parking lot. The small lot by Door 33 is reserved for guests, employees, and substitute teachers. Please use the Spartan Roundabout to drop students off and pick them up at Door 1 before and after school. Any student arriving late or leaving during the day will check in and out of the high school at our attendance office, located just inside Door 1, around the corner from Door 45 on the Spartan Roundabout.
