Welcome to Sacred Heart Catholic Academy of Bayside’s Kindergarten program! We are so excited to begin a new school year with your children and families.
We’ve included some important information to help you prepare for September. This includes details about uniforms, supplies, and the first week of school. Important Information
1. Uniforms
Uniforms may be purchased from Flynn and O’Hara:

All Students Must wear black shoes with their uniforms. An all black sneaker, no white is permitted. Students may wear any type of sneaker for gym.

4. FACTS Family Portal
The FACTS Family Portal is separate from the Financial site and requires a different login. There you can view your child's grades and attendance.
First Day of School: Wednesday, September 9th
School begins at 8:00 AM with a Welcome Prayer on 216th Street led by Msgr. Machalski. All are welcome to join.
Kindergarten parents may walk their children upstairs on the first day by the playground on 217th Street. You can start coming in as soon as prayer is over.
Early Dismissal at 11:45 AM on September 9th.
Full days of school on Thursday (Sept. 10) and Friday (Sept. 11).Kindergarten enters through the front door on 38th Avenue.
After school care begins the following week on September 14th..
Students must wear their Fall uniform during the first week of school:
Red polo shirt with khaki shorts/skort (No Free Dress). Kindergarten students wear their uniforms daily unless they have a dress down coupon or it is a special event day.
September 16 - Back To School Open House\
September 18th - Back To School BBQ
September 21 - Teacher PD All Day NO SCHOOL K - 8
