October 23, 2020: By now you should have all been introduced to the Research Project and had some time in the library to begin work on it. Please remember Steps 1 and 2 are due next class. Keep up with the WS - they will keep you on course to a great grade for this assignment AND will help you learn to think more critically. Remember, each class is posted as a Screencastiy in our GC, so if you are absent or need to review, it's there for you. Lastly, both librarians and I are here for you - ask questions any time! September 23, 2020: Good afternoon - Reminders for this week are to check BOTH websites at least once a week, complete attendance for any days you are on remote for my class, check our GC for updates, warnings and advise. Starting next week, I will be posting my lesson plans HERE. This is a GUIDE for you to follow to know what we are doing in class each day, what assignments are being given, due dates and what is upcoming. Good afternoon and WELCOME BACK to school. I have met some of you today, will meet more tomorrow - looking forward to getting to know you all.
First, Google Classroom is (GC) is a MUST! Please find your class below, copy code and paste it into GC to join the correct class.

If you are on FULL REMOTE, please join the class you are listed in (WILL be one of the above). If you are unsure of which is correct, please email me ASAP.
In your GC, you will find a link to this page. Please check here OFTEN! I will post messages, lesson plans and updates here AND in GC "stream.' The more you check in, the more you will know, the less confused you will be, and the more successful you will be.
Speaking of confusion, there is A LOT of that this year. A couple of words about it; ONE, be kind and be patient - with others and with yourself. TWO, ask questions, all the time, any time. THREE, My goal is to make this year your best year of English EVER! The only way that happens is if you COMMUNICATE with me often and honestly. We talk about it, we can work it out. :)
