National Portfolio Day
What is National Portfolio Day? NPD is a place to meet with counselors, admission team members, and faculty from accredited art and design schools across the world for free portfolio reviews.

All students can attend NPD as a junior or senior who is considering pursuing study in an art and design program in college. Many of my former students have attended with their sketchbooks and portfolios and were accepted into competetive degree programs

All students should be automatically added to my Google Classrooms. This is where you will receive important information about the lessons, and assignments for each day.Â
All completed fine art work must be photographed and submitted on Google Classroom by the assigned due date in order to be graded. Digital art and design work must be submitted in the assigned format which will depend on the application you are using.

Behance, is a great resource for creative inspiration and showcases portfolios from a range of professionals in the creative industry. It also highlights public art challenges.
The Sachem Public Library has a lot of great resources including computers with the Adobe Creative Suite insalled on them. The library also has FREE passes to 19 museums and attractions around Long Island and New York City.

Adobe Creative Cloud
Students in my Intro to the Visual Arts class will have access to the software in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Students can log-in using (first inititial then last name@go.sachem.edu)
