My name is Coach Joe Maines or Mr. Coach Maines, and this will be my 6th year teaching at Sabine! I earned my bachelors degree from Texas Tech University, and I also completed my Masters degree from Texas Tech University as well. I will be teaching 8th grade Health and Leadership this year, and I will be coaching Middle School and Varsity football. I coach the Offensive Line along with being the Special Teams Coordinator. I am also the Head Powerlifting Coach and i'm also Assistant Track, coaching the discus throwers.

I enjoy spending my free time with my 10 year old daughter Oakley. We like gardening, cooking, and going to the movies.
