9 & 10 Grade Counselor - Full Time

Hello, Freshman and Sophomore Cardinals! I'm happy to be returning to Sabine High School. I am beginning my 31st year in education with experience at Gladewater and Pine Tree ISDs.

I am married to fellow Sabine instructional technologist, Daniel Rich, and we have two daughters, Cami and Marisa.

I look forward to getting to know all of my students. It's my objective to help you achieve all of your High School goals and prepare for the best future possible!

11 & 12 Grade Counselor - Full Time

I’m excited to introduce myself as the 11th- and 12th-grade School Counselor at Sabine High School! As I begin my 24th year in education, I’m grateful for the opportunity to support the students and families of Sabine ISD.

I am a proud graduate of Newman Smith High School and earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas, where I attended on a volleyball scholarship. I later completed my Master of Science in School Counseling at Lamar University.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family—my husband, Stanton, and our two children, Laney (14) and Daxton (10).

I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our students and helping them navigate their high school journey. I’m excited for a fantastic school year and can't wait to see all that our students accomplish!

Student Guidance and Counseling

Welcome to the Counseling Department! Students are welcome to visit the counselor's office as needed. The Counseling and Guidance Center at Sabine High School assists students in their academic achievement, personal/social development and their post-secondary planning. Counselors provide the information that prepares students for their future educational decisions. They strive to make the school experience a positive one, so that each student may reach their fullest potential. In the event that a parent requests that his/her student meets with a counselor on a regular basis, the student will be referred to an outside agency/therapist.
