I am Amanda Fowler, and this will be my first year at Sabine Middle School. I graduated from East Texas Baptist University with my bachelor's in Elementary Education with a concentration in Christian Studies in 2016. I also have my master's degree in curriculum & instruction. I am excited to be teaching 7th grade RLA at SMS this year!
During my 10 years in education, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade. I moved to Kilgore six years ago and spent the past four years teaching at Kilgore Middle School where I was most recently the head of the RLA department.
I love to travel and try to visit a new place at least once a year! I have been to 18 states and 4 other countries - Iceland, France, the Netherlands, and Peru. I have a rottweiler named Remi and 2 nieces who are my whole world. I enjoy reading, learning new skills, and spending time with family and friends.
