My Name is Emily Barr! I am a Kindergarten teacher here at Sabine Elementary. This will be my nineth year teaching and my sixth at Sabine. I graduated from Sabine High School in 2014. Then, I graduated from East Texas A&M  in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.

I got married to my wonderful husband in 2021. He is a math teacher at the high school. We have one child, Remedy. We usually call her Remy. She is an absolute ray of sunshine with a heavy dose of sass. We are also expecting our second child in October. A baby boy named Hank. We also have two dogs; Mako, a pitbull-boarder collie mix, and Rose, a chihuahua-pug mix.

I LOVE the Philadelphia Eagles (GO BIRDS)! We also like the Boston Red Sox, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. My family and I watch a lot of our teams games, and it is something we enjoy doing together. We also love watching our Sabine Cardinals play.
