Educational Background:    

I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood and English.  I am beginning my 27th year in education.  This is my 24th year at Sabine ISD.  I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, 7th grade Writitng, 8th grade Reading Language Arts.  This year I get to move into the role of the Dyslexia teacher/Interventionist at Sabine Intermediate and Middle School.

Personal Information:

 I have been married for 27 years and have 2 children, a daughter-in-law and a grandson.  My son and his family live in Kilgore.  My daughter is a Senior at Texas Womens University in Denton where she is a member of the Pioneer Pride competition dance team.
