Website design, product development, data analytics, game development, user experience, digital marketing, and other digital skills are rooted in coding but they are not just coding. Most of us have misinterpreted coding being the synonym of digital skills required for success in the 21st century. Schools and parents need to provide platforms for learners to develop critical digital skills (hard, cognitive, and soft skills) through engaging real-world projects that prepare them for careers and life as the FUTURE of WORK is DIGITAL. Tech knowledge is also one of the major focuses of NEP2020.

In collaboration with BSD, we bring a SUMMER Course for the students of our customer schools. The 6 hours course spreads over 3 days and focuses on students’ development of digital skills in the context of the careers and world they will enter after school.

The course covers projects on topics in digital design, programming, and digital marketing.

These types of projects assist in students reinforcing learning through innovative presentations of their work, reflections across a program, or an applied recontextualization of concepts learned.
Projects are inherently flexible in time taken and make an ideal homework assignment.
Introduced as a toolkit, the ability to select projects themselves encourages student agency

Students will apply skills within a range of industry themes and job activities to expand their understanding and opportunities of where their own most significant interests lie related to the world of work.

They can carry their projects as a lifelong portfolio that can be shared with anyone using a link or a QR code.
