The summary of our research is that for different purposes, different sorts of performance is needed, does the user need a long-lasting battery? Or does the user need a high-performance battery that lasts decently long but has a much higher capacity and voltage output before dropping. For an application like a small torchlight or a handheld fan, the user should consider using a longer-lasting battery with a lower Voltage and Current output so that their devices last as long as possible. In contrast to this, someone in the field of Robotics should use high-performance batteries where they maintain high voltages without dropping much over time until it hits their threshold and stop powering the robot. This is only important as when testing robots, people will always peak performance instead of longer-lasting but sluggish robots, it is emphasised by the fact that as Voltage passing through a motor decreases, its maximum power will also decrease.
