"We treat your pet with gentle, loving care from the moment they arrive. As student groomers, we use calm handling, pet-safe products, and plenty of positive reinforcement to keep every animal comfortable and relaxed. Whether it’s a quick tidy or a full spa service, we take the time to listen to your needs, watch for signs of stress, and make safety and happiness our top priorities. Your pet is family — and we’ll treat them that way."
Services and What They Prevent
Ear Cleanings- Our aim is to maintain your pet's ears feeling and looking clean. The humidity levels in the lower valley are a perfect cause for yeast and bacteria to grow and accumulate in ear canals. Getting a routine cleaning helps to prevent ear infections.
Nail Trims- Just like our nails, your pet's nails continuously grow. If not filed or trimmed properly, they can overgrow and curl into their paw pads creating a painful experience which can lead to infection and walking difficulties.
Anal Gland Expressions- Every canine and feline has two pairs of anal glands located at the exit of the rectum. Pets tend to naturally excrete the liquid substance which builds up over time when they defecate. In some cases, pets needs assistance in expressing the secretions that accumulate. If you notice your pet scooting their rump on the ground or notice a strong metallic smell from their rump, then that is a sign that their anal glands are full to the point of causing discomfort. Only trained professionals should be allowed to express them as proper knowledge of their anatomy is required.
Baths- Not only are baths hygienic but they can also assist in the removal of external parasites. We always recommend keeping your pets on flea, tick and heartworm prevention year-round as the lower valley has a high rate of parasitic outbreaks.
Brushing- The brushing of a pet's hair or fur is important to help prevent mats. Mats can cause pain and discomfort when the hair follicles begin to get pulled by the roots.
