English courses based on your favourite movies and TV shows are what users love most about the app. EWA keeps track of the vocabulary that I am learning and gives me extra practice with unfamiliar and difficult words . It even reminds me when it is time to review! Every learner has a truly personalized experience, even if they are learning with the same video.I can practice English with all kinds of topics that matter to your life, from business to travel. This makes English learning a lot more fun and motivating.
The library of books and articles is definitely the highlight of the app.
Extensive listening is a terrific tool for improving both comprehension and speaking skills. Using a graded audiobook or podcast instead of, or even alongside, a graded reader helps students improve their English speaking skills by providing learners with the opportunity to listen to the pronunciation and context of words. All the advantages and methods of extensive reading apply: learners can choose to listen to a story that interests them, at a difficulty level they’re truly comfortable with. It’s also about the joy of the story, rather than just the deliberate acquisition of a skill – the focus is on meaning rather than form. Learners can listen to as much of the story as they want to, whenever they feel like it, and climb through the difficulty levels as they start to feel more confident.
Instead of studying endless word lists, I now have fun games with which I can learn new English words. Learning new vocabulary is easier when I am motivated—and EWA helps make it fun. There are three mini-games inside the EWA app. Each game is designed to help me master English words in a certain way.
For example, in the game of "MEMENTO", I can learn the English words “rash,” “diarrhoea,” “cough,” and “nausea” through pictures. Using this method, I can manage to learn many new English words and phrases without using my native language, but with virtual sensory and short-term memory. It’s a very immersive method to learn English vocabulary.
