I was born and raised in Hong Kong and am currently pursuing a PhD at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), where I also obtained my bachelor's degree in music education. From a young age, I have been proficient in playing a variety of Chinese and Western musical instruments, including the zheng, dizi, ruan, erhu, piano, and flute, while participating in various Chinese orchestras and symphonic bands. In addition to playing these instruments, I have served as a student conductor and composer for the Chinese orchestra and modern music ensemble throughout my undergraduate studies at EdUHK. In recent years, I have engaged in Cantonese operatic singing and have taken on the role of instrumental accompanist for Cantonese opera.
