Marvel and DC, as two of the largest movie production companies, maintain a viewerbase of people from all walks of life across the globe. This gives the companies a large impact on the ways certain things are represented in the media. In this project, I will specifically be focused on analyzing the ways the two companies differ in their representations of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder by focusing on two characters who are often seen as models of the disorder. Iron Man and Batman are two such characters who are both portrayed in vastly different ways.  Throughout this project, I will be focusing on those differences, attemtping to pin down how the two portrayals are most different and  how they are most similar.
