About The Researcher

My name is Edward Thompson and I am a senior at Rock Canyon High School. I have lived in Colorado my entire life and have grown to love this beautiful state. While I do not participate in all the outdoor activities offered in Colorado, I love hiking and skiing.

Although I love science and hope to pursue that path in college, I have a loving hobby for everything history. This led me to start taking a ton of different historical courses offered at Rock Canyon.

After exploring the many historical courses Rock Canyon offers, I found my passion for social studies. I decided to pursue a social studies-based research project after absolutely loving National History day. After making my documentary for the event, I ended up falling in love with the idea of researching another Social Economic based project. Which eventually lead me to my topic and why I am doing this research.

In my free time, you will find me gaming or reading a book in my bed. I hope as time goes on you get to understand why I love historical courses so much, and what this project means to me.
