My name is Luci Ridlen, and I am a senior at Rock Canyon High School. I am a part of the AP Capstone Research program. I am involved in several organization that address social issues and discrimination. Last year I crafted a reserach paper surrounding disparities in the Criminal Justice system and another describing class confluct in the college admissions process. As a woman, I am interested in researching gender disparities and gender roles. Furthermore, as a movie lover, it was only right for me to chose a research project that involves film and gender studies.

In the AP Seminar course, I studied social issues like racial justice and class differences. This year, I am studying inequalities between genders with the Nice Guy trope in film.
