Hello, my name is Preston Shaw and I am currently a senior at Rock Canyon High school in Highlands Ranch Colorado. I am originally from Duvall Washington where I lived until I was 13. In the summer of 2018 I moved to Castle Rock right at the beginning of my freshman year of high school.
Academically, I would say that I gravitate toward math and science as I have always been the most interested in both subjects from an early age with science being my passion. I am deeply interested in chemistry, physics, and anatomy as I seek to understand how they are interwoven to form the basis of life and bodily functioning.
For my future, I plan on becoming either a Cardiothoracic Surgeon or a Neurosurgeon as my fascination for medicine has paved a path in this direction. I am thinking about majoring in biochemistry, neuroscience, or some other form of natural physical science.
As a pass time I love to play the guitar, spend time outside whether that be hiking or skiing, and exploring new topics that I have little understanding in such as astro physics, quantum physics, and medical subjects. I also love cars, both the movie and the object (as depicted in the image to the left) and collecting vinyl records.
