Hi!! My name is Anisma Panta, and I am a senior at Rock Canyon High School. I have lived in Colorado my entire life, and I'm hoping to continue my education at either FSU or SDSU, where I will continue in the medical field. Outside of school, I used to play soccer for nine years until I switched over to volleyball and played at RVC and Elevation for about four years. I also currently work at Starbucks as a barista and volunteer at the Children's Hospital in Highlands Ranch. I have a tiny chihuahua named Nala who I love so so much and is my favorite ever. On the weekends, I love to hang out with my friends, be outside, and shop!
I have always been more of a science and math type of person and found that it came more naturally to me than history and english. My type of researcher is a Conceptual Humanist, meaning that I believe that knowledge exists to better humanity. I feel as though it is very important to approach topics from different perspectives and use those observations to create more approaches to improving human life. As aligning with a conceptual humanist, my approach to everyday inquiry involves a focus on the human side of the research rather than simply what is at hand. I’m more interested in topics that directly impact people and those that have effects on society.
