I am a senior in high school with a strong interest in research and a persistent curiosity that drives me to critically examine and think about questions. My academic interests are primarily in oncology research, where I am drawn to investigating unmet needs and gaps in the existing scientific literature. In parallel, I maintain a strong interest in business research, particularly in analyzing market inefficiencies, consumer behavior, and underexplored domains across various business sectors. Through interdisciplinary inquiry, I seek to understand how scientific rigor and strategic thinking can be combined to generate meaningful innovation.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am the founder and operator of an independent fragrance company, where I lead product development, formulation strategy, and manufacturing oversight. My work focuses on the creation of inspired-by (dupe) fragrances, which involves reverse-engineering scent profiles, analyzing fragrance compositions, sourcing aroma chemicals, and optimizing formulations to achieve high fidelity at accessible price points. This process has given me hands-on experience in applied chemistry, supply chain management, cost optimization, and intellectual property considerations, while also informing my broader interest in market research and product innovation within consumer industries.
