My name is Gaby Herfter and I am currently a senior at Rock Canyon High School. I am enrolled in AP Research this year to gain the invaluable experience of conducting my own, novel research. 

While there are no specific topics of research that I adhere to, I am majorly interested in research that investigates topics surrounding popular culture. As a result, I chose my research topic simply because it was something that interested me. I am further motivated by the cultural and modern relevance that my study investigates. Most importantly, I enjoy contributing to and being part of the broader world of research. 

After graduation, I plan to attend Ursinus College to major in Chemistry and minor in Spanish to pursue the career of being a Forensic Investigator. I also plan to participate in the Women's Division III Swimming program.
