Meet Elinor!
Hello! My name is Elinor Christensen, and I am currently a senior at Rock Canyon High School in Colorado. I enjoy traveling, listening to music, painting, reading, and being out in nature. I'm a huge literature and history buff as well.
I'm an avid learner and academic, which is why I find myself so drawn to the world of research. I focus my studies on things I'm passionate about, such as social issues, psychology, culture, etc. There are few things more fascinating to me than finding connections between our mindsets and the art and media we consume. After all, art imitates life and life imitates art. This research project is just a small dip into the pool of how media affects our thoughts and behaviors.
Future Plans
After graduation, I will be attending the University of Oregon for a year to major in Neuroscience with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. After that, I plan on transferring to the University of Edinburgh to finish my Bachelor's degree.
