About Me

Hello, my name is Bhavya and I am currently a senior at Rock Canyon High School. I love history and social science, but I am hoping to major in Finance at New York University, University of Colorado Boulder, or University of California. Alongside this major I hope to minor in some sort of humanities field. I hope to continue to study after my undergraduate through an MBA program. I love traveling to new places and hanging out with family and friends, and that is a part of why I love Colorado. In the past my family and I have traveled to countries such as Peru, Iceland, Turkey, and Greece where I learned and loved various cultures and architecture.

When it comes to school and my choice for classes, I decided to take the Capstone Program in high school to develop my presentation and writing skills, and through AP Research I can learn about something of my own interest while also improving those core skills. I love learning about new things and new issues, especially when related to social concerns/topics, and this is something AP Research will help me immerse in. My passion for history and social science led me to choose my current topic of affirmative action.
