Bio

Hi there! My name is Annie Benson and I am a senior at Rock Canyon High School. I love learning about history, psychology, and international relations and hope to major in one of those subjects in college. I also love to travel and hope to do a semester abroad in college.

In my free time, you can find me listening to and making music, watching movies and documentaries, and spending time with my friends and family.

I'm so excited to conduct research on a topic that I'm passionate about. I absolutely love history with a particular focus on modern world history during the 20th Century, so I really wanted to do a historical project. Historical films are my favorite genre and I love World War II movies, but I feel that most of them tell similar stories. There are so many amazing stories from inspiring heroes during the war, but many aren't told. I've done a lot of research on my own time on lesser known and under appreciated stories, which led me to my research topic. I can't wait to embark on this journey and combine my passion and favorite hobbies to conduct meaningful research.
