Hi! I’m Tia Abraham, and this year in AP Research I have chosen to take on an analysis of the
biomechanical structure of the cornflower. In this study, I will be “wind-training” my flowers, and based on previous research, this artificial wind application will decrease the plants height, increase its circumference at the base, increase its root-to-shoot biomass, and decrease its average leaf and flower length. Specifically, I will be utilizing this new type of methodology to
determine how frequently wind must be applied to achieve maximum results.
