FIRST®

"For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology", FIRST was founded in 1989 to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology. As one of the biggest robotics organizations in the world, it holds many small robotics competitions around the world as well as the FIRST Robotics Competition Championship in Houston, TX every year.

LAST year's Competition theme: "reefscape"

Ocean exploration and conservation, specifically focusing on strengthening and maintaining coral reef ecosystems. Teams use their robots to complete tasks that simulate restoring these underwater habitats, such as placing coral and algae.
