In years past the 4th grade has learned the Troika as their culminating event for dance. This year we were going to try something new. It's called La Anaconda!

When we begin our dance unit in 4th grade we try to focus on different cultures and how they use music.
La Anaconda is a traditional folk dance originating from the Amazon region of Peru. The dance is dedicated to the water serpent, the Anaconda.
