Welcome to Geometry Accelerated

Use drop down menu to access Calendar and/or Class Notes throughout the year.

Students will be able to access the calendar and class notes on Google Classroom.

You have been invited to Google Classroom based on the email address that we have in ESchools.  If there is another email address that you would like me to send the invitation to, please let me know in the Open House Google Form OR email me at asokolofsky@ryeneck.org

SUPPLY LIST:

The following supplies are required daily

• Charged Chromebook (School will provide a Chromebook to all students)

• Binder that may be shared with another class (only need one section for our current notes)  OR folder

• Small (½ inch) 3-ring binder filled with plain copy paper for our “Prooflet” books that we will create OR a spiral sketchbook Does NOT have to be large, notebook size or slightly smaller is fine. 

• Compass - please note that a sturdy, metal compass will be much easier to use than a plastic compass 

• Straight-edge OR pocket-size ruler

• Pencils/Erasers 

• Colored pens and/or colored pencils and/or highlighters (about four or five different colors)

• Graphing Calculator - TI Nspire CX or CXII (NOT CAS) *The NSpire calculator from last year will continue to be used this year, and will be used next year in Algebra II as well.

NOTE: The NSpire IS allowed for the ACT AND SAT.  HOWEVER, CAS is not allowed on the ACT.
