Nina Heery, WINNER

Approximately 60 seventh grade students participated in the Lions Club annual peace poster contest. The high school art teachers helped to narrow down the entries to seven total finalists, which then were further narrowed down to three overall submissions by members of the local Lions Club branch!

Finalists: Abby Andrews, Lilly Banahan, Carly Golub, Evan Hammer, Nina Heery, Giselle Navarro, and Julian Smith.

NINA HEERY was the winner of the contest and represented Rye Neck Middle School as the Lions Club continued the judging process at the next level.

Abby Andrews and Evan Hammer were chosen by the Lions Club, both as a runner-up in the contest!

Students attended a ceremony at the Mamaroneck Public Library to recognize their work and accomplishments in November 2022!
