Hello! My name is Katherine Kelly and I am so excited to be your Kindergarten teacher. We are going to have an awesome year together full of learning and new adventures! I am excited to meet ALL of you and learn more about you. Here is a little information about me. 

I grew up in La Crosse, WI in a family of educators. My parents were professors at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I am the youngest of three children. I have an older sister and older brother. 

I attended school at Minnesota State University-Mankato and earned my degree in Elementary Education. This will be my 7th year teaching Kindergarten! 

I currently live in Cottage Grove with my husband, Michael, our 8 month old daughter-Julia, and our Vizsla puppy-Penny. My husband works for the University of Minnesota in the Athletic Department. 

Some of my favorite activities include gardening, going for walks, spending time with family and friends, shopping, reading, and getting a "fancy" coffee from Starbucks or Caribou.
