Meet Your Elementary School Counselor In-Training:

Hi, I'm Mrs. Elznic! I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Wayne State College. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and have been teaching at River Valley for four years. My professional interests lie in elementary school counseling, where I am passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners.

I am lucky to get the best of both worlds this year as I will be part-time teaching 3rd grade and part-time counseling K-5. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my dogs, and reading.
