About Us

Our team consists of learning commons staff, teachers, learning assistants and head office staff.

Battle of the Books has been going since the opening of Prairie Waters Elementary School.

Leslie Waite and a team, trailblazed the BOB initiative.

When East Lake School opened half the team moved there, we now had another team to battle. 

Since 2014 East Lake School and Prairie Waters battled within there own schools and the winning team of the in house battles were  sent to the rival school for a finale.

Battle of the Books has only been a district wide event since 2018.
