Dr. Shruthi P is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science and Engineering at RV Institute of Technology and Management (RVITM), Bangalore, where she has been serving since 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), all from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.

Dr. Shruthi possesses a balanced blend of academic expertise and industry exposure, with two years of professional experience in the IT sector and twelve years of teaching experience in engineering education. She has worked with reputed organizations including LSI Pvt. Ltd. and CyberTech Systems and Software Pvt. Ltd., contributing as an IT Analyst and Software Engineer.

In academia, she has taught a diverse portfolio of subjects within Information Science and Engineering and has actively engaged in research and scholarly activities. She has an active research profile, with publications in reputed international journals, international and national conferences, and Scopus-indexed journals. She also holds a patent and has contributed scholarly content through the authorship of books. 

Dr. Shruthi continues to focus on quality teaching, research excellence, and contributing to the overall academic development of the department and institution.
