FantomCode 2025, organized by the Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) at RVITM, was a highly successful 24-hour national-level hackathon centered on the theme of open innovation. The event attracted a diverse array of participants from across India, including teams from prestigious institutions such as IIITs and NITs. The hackathon featured two key rounds: an online ideation phase on April 5, 2025, followed by an intense 24-hour implementation round held on April 11-12, 2025.
Round 1: Online Ideation Round (5th April 2025)
The first round of FantomCode 2025 was an online ideation phase, where over 75 teams presented their innovative concepts to a panel of judges via Google Meet. This highly competitive round showcased a broad range of creative solutions. After careful evaluation, 21
teams were selected to advance to the next stage.
Round 2: Implementation Round (11th- 12th April 2025)
The second round took place over 24 hours at the RVITM campus. The event was inaugurated by distinguished Chief Guests Dr. Srinivas K S, Rajesh S, and Priya Sathya. Additionally, the event was honored by the presence of the Guests of Honor, Mr. Sujith K V and Mr. Sandeep. The atmosphere was energized as the shortlisted teams engaged in an intense coding session to bring their projects to life. The event culminated in creativity, innovation, and technical expertise, pushing participants to their limits.
