Dr. Latha C A

Dr. Latha C A has total of 30 years of academic experience. 

Dr. Latha C A is working as Professor and Head of Information Science and Engg., RVITM, Bangalore 

Dr. Latha is a doctorate from Anna University, Chennai. She has done her post-graduation from NITK Suratkal and Graduation from Mysore University in 1991. Since then, in her vast academic experience, she is contributing to technical education in most of the capacities.

She has recieved grant in aid of Rs 11,65,000/- under the MODROB Scheme sanctioned by AICTE, New Delhi.

She has published a US patent for one of her research works.

Authored book on ‘Programming in C’ in 2015 and updated version in 2019, which is widely appreciated and used by the students.

She was appointed as member of Board of Examination for VTU in 2013,2015 and 2019 and currently for Dayanand Sagar University.

Being a Reviewer and Technical Program Committee member for many of the IEEE International Conferences and reputed Journals, she is also been awarded, “Outstanding Reviewer award” by reputed Elsevier publishers.

She has several research papers to her credit both at National and International level with good Research Indices.

She is interested in research areas, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Distributed Systems, and Sentimental Analysis. Currently she is guiding 5 Research Scholars.

She has produced one Doctorate and two already submitted thesis and waiting for defense viva with one scholar doing active research all under  VTU.
