Dr. Nataraj Vijapur has over 24 years of teaching experience and is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at R V Institute of Technology & Management, Bengaluru. He is also the In-Charge of the Center of Excellence and Institute Internship Coordinator at RVITM.

He has previously served as the In-Charge Head of the Department (ECE) for one year and has made significant academic and administrative contributions as PG Coordinator for VLSI Design and Embedded Systems, NBA Coordinator, and Technical Fest Coordinator.

Dr. Vijapur completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Karnataka University in 2001, Master of Technology in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi Campus in 2009, and Ph.D. from VTU, Belagavi Campus in 2017.

He has actively contributed to academic governance through his roles as Member, Board of Examiners (BOE) and Member, Board of Studies (BOS) at VTU and other universities. He is a member of professional bodies such as IEEE and Indian Society for Technical Education.

Dr. Nataraj Vijapur has authored five patents and published many international research papers, including Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 journals, along with  publications indexed in Scopus and Web of science. 

He has successfully convened international conferences, national-level Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and serves as a reviewer for reputed journals and publishers, including Springer, Elsevier, and IEEE, as well as various international journals and conferences.
