I Dr. Harish H., joined the Mechanical Engineering Department of RV Institute of Technology (RVITM) Bengaluru as an Assistant Professor, in 2022. Before joining RVITM, I had worked as Assistant Professor at Atria Institute of Technology, Bengaluru for 1.6 years. Prior to that, I was working as a Research Scholar at NITK-Surathkal. I have been awarded a Ph.D. degree from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka, Surathkal, in the year 2022. During my Ph.D. work, I got an opportunity to work with Jindal Steel Works Pvt. Ltd (JSW) R&D center Bellary in the year 2018. I earned my M-Tech in Machine Design and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology, Bengaluru in 2012 and 2010 respectively. My research areas are Machine design, Mineral processing, additive manufacturing, and Nanocomposite materials. I have published 3 International Patents among which one has been granted. I have published 25 International Journals and presented 06 papers at various conferences in India. I received the best paper award from the Institute of Engineers in 2020, and also received the Best Poster presentation award from the Society of Mining Engineers (SME) in 2020. I have 5.6 years of teaching and 6 years of research experience.
