Exploratory/Art 6 students designed and sculpted their own Alebrijes inspired by the Mexican folk art created by Pedro Linares. Using Model Magic (Crayola brand) and choice handbuilding techniques: pinch, coil & slab, students molded their own fantastical creation using waterbased markers, acrylic paint and paint pens. Students named their own Alebrije.
