Mr. Prakash R- Won the second place in Srinivasa Ramanujan Mathematics competition – 2014-15 examinations state level on 11^th Feb, 2015

The department was recognized as research center by VTU for carrying out research work in May 2011

Dr. G. Jayalatha- Awarded Young Scientist Award in the Award Session for Young Researchers below 30yrs of age in 53rd Congress of ISTAM, an International Meet, held at University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad on 27th to 30th Dec 2008
