Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!
August 2023
It is my privilege to serve the Southampton Community as your School Counselor. I have been a Southampton Tiger since 2018. Cheers to the beginning of my 6th academic year.
Every single student has access to their school counselor. School Counselors support the academic, personal/social, college and career development of ALL students.
The Southampton students are my family and you know family is important to me. I believe that EVERY student can reach their own definition of success with unconditional support.
I will deliver developmentally appropriate activities and services to students which are influenced by data and are student-centered.
At Southampton, 80% of my time will be around delivering classroom counseling lessons, small group counseling, individual counseling, crisis counseling. It will also include providing consultations, referrals, and collaborating with stakeholders.
With that being said (well typed LOL) lets dive ALL into this new academic year!

HER Small Group co-facilitated by CIS Coordinator
Each and every Southampton student will receive a stress relieving kit in their school supply kit. Each kit contains one (1) bubble wand, one (1) stress ball and (1) small play dough. These items can be used to help a student re-center themselves.
