Greetings Students, Parents, and Guardians

I am pleased to welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year.  I am Dr. Marlene Cooper-Cravey and as your art teacher, I am committed to providing you with a diverse and exciting educational experience. My class will facilitate instruction in art techniques, art history, and creative problem-solving. Here you will find student work, readings, and abundant instructional resources and tools curated just for you. This year we will be exploring various materials and techniques using a choice-based approach.  You will have the freedom to choose between creative centers that will focus on various concepts targeted in the Virginia Fine Arts curriculum
