What are the musical elements?

Musical elements are the building blocks of music. If we can describe and identify them, We will be able to analyse music.

Here is a video to help you understand the music elements.

You are to create a poster using google drawings or Canva for one of the musical elements in this slide show.  If you don’t know how to create a digital poster, ask your teacher.

Your poster should include:

• The title “Musical Elements 

• A heading ‘description’ and then a description of that element 

• A heading ‘describing words’ and a list of the words used to describe that element

• At least 2-3 imported images to decorate your poster.

• A link to a piece of music  you  have chosen and its name (YouTube link) - along with a description of at least 2 different ways your element is used in that piece
