Dear Parents,
As November approaches, the start of the Math Competition season is about to begin. RSM has long encouraged our students to expand their horizons beyond academic classes and challenge their thinking through participation in math competitions. This can be an excellent way to build your college profile by demonstrating your mastery of mathematics in a different way that also proves you are a critical thinker capable of creative problem solving.
In order to best support our students that choose to pursue this path, we have created our Math Competition Program (MCP) classes and it is not too late to register for one and get your children engaged in a variety of local, national and international competitions including: American Math Competition (AMC), Math Olympiad, Math Kangaroo, Continental Math League, Purple Comet and more.
You can sign up for a free evaluation or send us past competition results to qualify for the classes. Registration for some of these competitions has already begun so don't miss out and contact us before it is too late!

CATCH UP HELP
If you miss a class you can sign up for a free makeup session here. We ask that all students come to class to catch up with the material if they miss a class. Our curriculum is a spiral and, if students miss a class and do not complete the homework, it will be difficult for them to follow their next class.
Here are the links for free, online makeup lessons that we provide for our students:
MPOWER #5
We believe that there is no such thing as a math person. Mathematical minds need to be nurtured and the urge to solve problems needs to be kept alive.
That is why we have MPower! - a fun math magazine that not only makes your child think but also enjoy math through challenging math storytelling and interactive problems.
