It is not too late to sign up for a MCP class and have your child engage their minds in a different type of thinking and challenge more complex problems. You can make an appointment with our office for an MCP evaluation anytime during our working hours so don't miss out!

WINTER BREAK
Dear Parents,
There are no classes during winter break from Tuesday, December 20 till Sunday, January 1.
We wish you happy holidays and enjoy your time with your families and friends.
DECEMBER BOOT CAMPS
During the first few days of the winter break, we will be hosting some boot camps to help students catch up. These will be by invitation only so if your teacher recommends it, you will receive an email soon.
TEACHER'S CORNER
Ms. Luljeta Cano
Ms. Luli is one of our Head Teachers who has more than 30 years experience and has been teaching with RSM for more than 7 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from University of Tirana, Albania.
Her passion in educating young generations keeps her motivated and devoted to her profession. She is serious and strict in class, but she also likes to create a vivid situation of exchanging opinions and ideas during lessons and making them easy, understandable and exciting for students. She has worked with top students to develop their ability of fast and high-level thinking to be ready for future challenges which has helped them to be accepted in programs like MIT Primes.
Ms. Luli has also had her grandchildren go through RSM as she believes in the value that our program brings.
Mr. Ovidu Mantaluta
Mr. Ovidiu Mantaluta has more that 30 years of teaching experience and he is teaching mathematics at RSM Lexington from 7 years. He has graduated the Faculty of Physics from Iasi University, Romania; he has a master degree and a PhD in educational sciences.
He likes to be involved in the education of children and to raise their interest in mathematics. His granddaughter Catherine is a student of RSM Lexington and he hopes that the other two grandchildren will do the same.
Ms. Nelli Linatser
Ms. Nelli has been with RSM since her kids were in elementary school many years ago, teaching elementary, middle and MCP classes.
She is coordinating RSM Lexington's presence in several mathematical contests this year, always looking for new opportunities to challenge (and show off!) our student's math skills. She thinks competitions are fun and more kids should at least try them. Sports develop your body, math develops your brain, so why not play math like you play sports?
Ms. Nelli started off as a parent of RSM students and grew to like the program so much she joined the team: "I was extremely fortunate to have a math teacher in middle school who taught us to understand and love mathematics. I strive to pass that to our students. The RSM program is inspiring - it doesn't just impart knowledge, it encourages interest. The classes here develop logical and analytical skills in students. I consider myself lucky to be part of such an encouraging program."
LOST & FOUND
Please ask your children to check the Lost & Found section in our school in case they lost their stuff before the Winter break.
We will clean all items then.
DROP OFF AND PICK UP POLICY
We DO NOT have a car drop-off and pick-up line. We expect you all to fully park in a parking spot before you drop off your kids or walk your K-5th grader to the entrance.
In Lexington, please, take a wide loop around the parking lot when dropping off students instead of driving over the speed bump area close to the building and drive slower as there are medical patients coming out of the building there. (see the picture)
In Belmont and Arlington, please DO NOT park on the second line on the street and DO NOT block other drivers.
K-5th
Please, park your car and walk your child to and from the school during the pick-up and drop-off.
For safety reasons, kids are not allowed to cross the street or to walk to their car.
Parents are not allowed in the building, the teacher or our office will pick up and drop off your child at the front door.
6th-12th
They can come or leave the building by themselves.
DECEMBER EVENTS
We organize many events on-line and in-person for our students. Please check all coming events HERE
CATCH UP HELP
If you miss a class you can sign up for a free makeup session here. We ask that all students come to class to catch up with the material if they miss a class. Our curriculum is a spiral and, if students miss a class and do not complete the homework, it will be difficult for them to follow their next class.
Here are the links for free, online makeup lessons that we provide for our students:
Children's Business Fair 2022
Take a look at these faces, so full of joy and many great emotions! We are very excited and grateful to be growing within our community! Who knows, maybe in a few more years the RSM Children’s Business Fair could become the top place for networking?
