Lets take a look at the basics of rhythm.

Rhythm is the foundation of music.

Whole Note = 4 beats in a measure

Half Note Dot = 3 beats in a measure

Half Note = 2 beats

Quarter Note = 1 beat

Eighth Note = 1/2 beat

Sixteenth Note = 1/8 beat
