Overview of the Center
Inside areas will include a…
4,000 square foot “HUB” for student introductions, large group activities, community events, Esport Arena, and numerous other activities. This area will contain a large presentation screen, flexible seating, and access to all the Innovation Labs. Note: The plan is to have a minimum of 150-200 students visit the Center each day as as well as weekend and evening classes sponsored by members of the community.
4 “Innovation Labs” with dividing doors that open to form 2 - 5,000 square feet large group rooms.
3,000 square foot special events area (with dividing wall) for long term project setups (Mission Impossible, Space Station Simulation, Jurassic Park Robotics, Design Challenges, Drone Course, Indoor Rock Wall, etc)
2,000 square foot Fab Lab/Maker Space
5,000 square foot cafeteria with hydroponic Fork Farms Flex Farms and an attached 2,000 square foot kitchen for culinary arts (greenhouse attached)
2,000 square foot video production/editing/music/podcasting and recording studio
1,000 square foot virtual/augmented reality area and collaboration cove
Fossil wall and OmniGlobe area in the entrance hallway
Bathrooms, Education Commons, and office for staff, storage areas, and mechanical area

Seating arena and stage (outside classes and community presentations)
Pond for water sampling and biodiversity studies
Sand pit for archaeology/architect/art activities
