The Departments of Botany and English organised an add-on certificate course titled English Skills for Professionals for the UG/ PG students of Botany. In the age of globalization and rapid technological advances, the ability to communicate fluently in English is a necessity for professionals in most industries. This course aimed to develop basic language and communication skills (both verbal and non-verbal), and thereby, to enhance the confidence and personality development of the students. It will also prepare them for the processes of job applications and interviews.
