The purpose of the AP Human Geography course is to introduce students to the systematic study of patterns and processes that have shaped human understanding, use, and alteration of Earth’s surface. Students employ spatial concepts and landscape analysis to examine human social organization and its environmental consequences. They also learn about the methods and tools geographers use in their science and practice.

United States History I-Honors begins with the study of the revolutionary aftermath of the French and Indian War and concludes with the examination of America’s status as a global power at the dawn of the 20th Century. Emphasis is placed on the close reading of historical documents, textual analysis and historical research with specific attention to the Social Studies skills that will be assessed on history-oriented Advanced Placement assessments.

Who am I?
I am currently entering my 21st year of teaching. I have taught every year of my career at RFH. I am married with three children. I have a true love for history and geography, but I am also incredibly passionate about music and playing with my band All That Roxx. I love sports as well and my fandom lies with the New York Yankees, Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings.
