What is a pre-degree program?

    The Pre-degree program offers secondary, vocational, and non-formal education students the opportunity to pursue a bachelor's degree in advance using their lower secondary education qualification. This involves accumulating credits in a chosen field of study. Upon completion of upper secondary education (or equivalent), these credits can be transferred to a bachelor's degree program, allowing for faster graduation. Furthermore, the system aims to enhance students' knowledge and skills. 

Who is a pre-degree program suitable for?

The Pre-degree program is ideal for high school students, as well as vocational and non-formal education students, who want to accumulate university credits to graduate with a bachelor's degree from Ramkhamhaeng University faster.

   Vocational diploma students can also apply for the Pre-degree program. However, please consider registering for courses that do not duplicate credits that can be transferred from your vocational diploma in the future. You may choose to register for major subjects in your chosen program. Upon completing your vocational diploma, you can transfer the credits from your vocational diploma along with the credits accumulated during the Pre-degree program to apply for a bachelor's degree.

   The Pre-degree system is a faculty-unaffiliated learning program. Students can choose to study courses from any faculty, giving them the opportunity to study, accumulate credits, and discover their interests, aptitudes, and passions.  

Tuition fees?

• Initial application and registration fee (Regional) : Not exceeding 3,300 baht. 

• Tuition fees for subsequent semesters (Regional): Not exceeding 2,000 baht.

   *Tuition fees depend on the number of credits registered. The university requires a minimum of 9 credits per semester and a maximum of 22 credits per semester (except for the summer semester). The fee for the summer semester is 25 baht per credit.

How do I apply for a Pre-degree program?

     Prepare the following important documents:

     1. Two copies of a certificate of educational qualification stating the reason for leaving the educational institution (completed the course or graduated) and the date of graduation, for lower secondary education (Grade 9).

     2. Two copies of your national identity card.

     3. (If applicable) Two copies of the name change document.

     4. One 1-inch photograph.
